Wyndemere Senior Living Community Acquired by Life Care Services
Longstanding CDH Relationship Remains

WHEATON, Ill., March 12, 2010– Life Care Services LLC (LCS) of Des Moines, Iowa, recently announced the acquisition of Wyndemere Senior Living Community in Wheaton, Ill., a senior living community in the western suburbs of Chicago. LCS was selected by the community’s former owner, Central DuPage Hospital (CDH), after an extensive search to identify an organization with significant and proven expertise in senior care and the ability to enhance the senior living environment at Wyndemere.

Care Across the Campus

When Wyndemere resident Isabelle Bartel fell and broke her hip last January, she experienced the continuity of care across the Campus first-hand. After being in the hospital, Isabelle, received therapy at RehabTrack at Wynscape and had a brief stay at Westbridge, before returning to her Wyndemere apartment, assisted with home health care.

Sharing the Joy

There’s no doubt about it. The economy has provided a bumpy ride for millions of people, across the country. Charities, too, felt the strain, as contributions declined. But, in a spirit of sharing, the staff of the Wyndemere Senior Living Campus decided to scale back their annual holiday party and give the money to charity instead.
